Isotretinoin capsules are a very effective treatment for severe acne (spots).
It achieves this remarkable efficacy by influencing cell-cycle progression, cellular differentiation, cell survival and apoptosis. These actions reduce sebum production, preventing the blockage of pores, and growth of acne
causing bacteria. It significantly reduces the production of sebum.
Use: As a general rule, the starting dose is 0.5 mg per kilogram body weight per day (0.5 mg/kg/day).
